MDA students shine

 
Stephen Marshall, Hardus van Tonder and Ntokozo Mahlangu secured third place for their vocal trio.

Ten students from the Mokopane Destiny Academy (MDA) took part in the All Africa Student Convention for ACE private schools, which was held at the University of the Free State during the September school holidays.
A total of 1 400 students from across the continent took part and all Mokopane Destiny Academy’s students placed under the top 10 among in all their entries.
The achievements include:
Creative Praise and Worship dance: Mokopane Destiny Alive was placed second.
Hardus van Tonder, Stephen Marshall, Ntokozo Mahlangu won third place for their Vocal Trio.
Hardus van Tonder - Poetry Recitation, male: 9th place, Power Point Presentation: third place.
Raymandi Goosen - 3D Art – Clay Sculpture: fourth place.
Raymandi Goosen and Manoko Kekana- Science Exhibit-Theoretical: sixth place.
Pula Magagane and Karabo Mahlala- Social Studies Exhibit-Research: 8th place.
Elandre Janse van Rensburg and Stephen Marshall - Social Studies Exhibit-Collection: second and fifth place.
Crochet entries:second place for Mahlatse Mmalatje and fourth place for Manoko Kekana.
Manoko Kekana and Mahlatse Malatje - Dramatic Dialogue: sixth place.
Athletics: Stephen Marshall- second place (physical fitness), Karabo Mahlala -   third place (Long Jump),10th place (200m dash) ,Stephen Marshall - fourth place (Shot put, male) , Pula Magagane - tenth place (400m male dash). - Elsabe Brits
