21st charity Golf Day
The winners of the Bushveld Classic were the team of BME with a score of 93 points on a count out. They are Jaco van der Walt, Paul de Beer, Thinus Brits and Kobus Meyer.
MOKOPANE – Last week Saturday marked Anglo’s Mogalakwena mine’s 21st annual charity Golf Day, known as the “Bushveld Classic” in aid of charity that was held at the Kameeldoring Golf Course.
Senior mine manager, Richard Cox thanked everyone, including their sponsors, for the contribution towards the golf day where charity was their main aim. The winners of the golf day were the team of BME with a score of 93 points on a count out. The winners were Jaco van der Walt, Paul de Beer, Thinus Brits and Kobus Meyer.
Twickenham NMT’s team ended in second place, also with a score of 93 points on a count out. They were Joe Botha, Charl Visser, Lappies Labuschagne and B Germishuizen.
Taking third place was Pilanesberg Platinum Mine’s team with 90 points on a count out.
