Details:
Ridgeway College in Louis Trichardt’s annual Forest Walk in the Komatiland plantation outside Louis Trichardt will take place on 13 April this year.
A 4km and an 8km distance can be walked. Registration will take place at 08:00, with the race starting at 09:00. Participation costs R25 per primary school student and R50 for high school students and adults. Pre-registration can be done by contacting the school office at 015 151 0111.
Cold drinks and refreshments will be on sale. “Walkers, please bring along water bottles, so we don’t ruin the environment with plastic water sachets. Bottles can be re-filled at the various water points,” said the college.
