R10,00 up for grabs in Glow Night Mile

The Soutpansberg will be hosting a Glow Night Mile evening run/walk in Louis Trichardt on Thursday, 9 November, with R10, 000 to be won for the athlete who can complete the mile run in under four minutes.
The route will be from Mount Fuji to Songozwi Street and back again down Krogh Street (Krogh Street to be closed from 16:30 to 19:00).
The event is a community-involvement project sponsored by Loerie Spar and organised by the Soutpansberg Athletics Club and Parkrun volunteers to enable everyone to enjoy an evening walk in a safe environment. It will be open to everyone, with an entree fee of R 20 for individuals or R100 for teams of four. All proceeds will go towards child cancer via the Makhado Care Group.
Participants will receive a glow stick to show their entry and support.
