Gardeners reap rewards

LEPHALALE - The Ledibeng Garden Competition has become an annual event in Lephalale with a growing number of residents of the estate participating to establish who has the most beautiful garden.
At a prize-giving ceremony held at the estate on Friday, Cranbrook Property Projects CEO Hoffman Prinsloo
congratulated residents for their hard work and encouraged them to continue with their efforts.
This year the prize for the best flower and shrub planted garden went to Rian and Elsa Pretorius who has over 60 plant species in their garden. Nkosi Maseko took second place. The best grass covered garden went to Pieter and Margie Els and Lionell du Preez and Leonie Abt took second place.
Sponsors for this year’s competition were Cranbrook Property Projects.
