LEPHALALE- Last week Thursday six girls from various high schools in Lephalale accompanied members of the local police to work where they learned about the day-to-day work of the police.
Their first stop was the Community Service Centre (CSC) which was followed by a visit to the dog unit at the Police training centre. They then went to the cluster commander’s offices where they gained some insight into the duties of the cluster commander of the detectives.
Their last visit for the day was the Local Criminal Record Centre (LCRC) where they were shown how finger prints differ from each other, how finger prints are collected at crime scenes and how accident scenes are attended to.
