Fire prevention office gets new face

Lephalale Municipality this week welcomed Victor Mautjana as the newly appointed Fire Prevention Officer (FPO). Mautjana takes over from Barry Kruger, affectionately known as Oom Barry.
As FPO Mautjana’s role will be to pre-empt fire risks and put preventative measures in place unlike fire fighters who respond to fires once they have started.
