Fire at Lephalale Mayor’s house

A case of malicious damage to property is being investigated by the police after they were called to Lephalale Mayor Jack Maeko’s house on Friday.
This came after the security guard has alerted the Mayor that he has seen an unknown man wandering around the premises. A few minutes later two plastic rubbish bins at the front gate and part of the wall was set alight. The incident happened around two in the morning. According to the guard, he noticed the man and when he tried to call him out he ran away.
