Burglars meet their match in Lephalale

Police arrested 11 people over the weekend in Lephalale’s Marapong township after they received a tip-off that suspicious TVs, laptops, remote controls and cell phones were hidden in a house in extension 4.
During the week the commander of the K9 unit managed to arrest another eight suspects on charges of suspected stolen property which include plasma TVs, laptops, and cell phones.
“This is a huge success for the station and for the past three days we haven’t heard of any house breakings. It looks like we are on the right track and we will continue to bring the perpetrators to book,” said W/O Frans Mokoena, Spokesperson for Lephalale police.
