The enviro projects committee from Waterberg High School decided to plant two trees in the school yard on Friday. They did so as part of their contribution towards national arbour week which was celebrated last week.
The Enviro Group which consists of a group of students, headed by one of the teachers, James Nkuna, is an initiative to keep the school and community clean.
“The students are stationed at different strategic points across the school and it is their duty to keep their different parts clean,” said Nkuna.
The Enviro Projects Group also helps other students by teaching them about living green and what ramifications litter and pollution have. - Botshelo Letlabola (botshelo@noordnuus.co.za)
