The timing for the opening of the Kia Mokopane dealership is spot-on. So said Kia South Africa’s national sales director, Gary Scott, at the official opening of the new dealership on the corner of Retief and Pretorius Streets last Thursday.
“We applaud Muneer Noormohamed  - the Dealer Principal of Kia Mokopane - for his entrepreneurial spirit. There is a lot of excitement in this brand and Muneer understands that and knows how to capitalise on it,” Scott said.
His sentiments were echoed by COO of Kia SA, Zian van Heerden.
“Kia has been in South Africa for 15 years now. We have built a reputation for reliability, style and quality - a fact that is reflected in the 2 500 to 3 000 cars we sell every month,” Van Heerden said.
He welcomed Noormohamed into the Kia family telling guests how the relationship between them started four years ago.
“It is a brand we are proud to be associated with,” Noormohamed told guests. “We are proud to be a member of this family where clients come first.”
