MEC declares war on drugs in Mahwelereng

Last Thursday provincial MEC for safety and security, Joyce Mashamba and Limpopo police commissioner Lt.Genl. Fanie Masemola joined the Mahwelereng acting cluster commander, Col. Lucas Mogwaneng at the Mahwe-lereng Community Centre in bringing the fight against drug and substance abuse to the community.
Various speakers addressed the community on the evils of drug and alcohol abuse with a lot of emphasis on the youth. MEC Mashamba said she has been moved by the tremendous support the department is getting from communities and stakeholders.
