51 arrested over the weekend
Constables SM Seko, MP Ralefatana, A Nukeri, CM Mfisa, and F Mokonyane patrolled the streets of Marapong on Sunday and closed down two shebeens in the area.
Lephalale police officers are working hard to curb criminal activities as the holiday season looms. Altogether 51 people were arrested over the weekend for cases ranging from assault, drinking in public, theft, illegal immigration and shoplifting.
On Sunday, police raided several shebeens in Marapong, which led to the closure of two illegal establishments. At least 13 cases of alcohol were confiscated and taken to the Lephalale police station.
