When Masia Andrew Mushathama from Mokopane was left blind after being mugged in 2004, he decided to not let it slow him down. He completed his studies at the University of Venda in Human Resources Management and decided that his condition would not hold him back. He has realised his dream by
becoming a published author.
He has completed his first book,
Organizational Management Concentration in the Twenty-First Century, earlier this year.
“The book is aimed at helping managers and employees, trade unions as well as students at tertiary levels doing management courses and small business entrepreneurs, to understand terms such as motivation, retention, the turn-over process, ect.,” he explains. “Other terms covered in the book includes recruitment and selection, job evaluation, the induction process, human resource planning and all the Acts as they need to be enforced in a workplace.”
The book is available in all book stores and an e-book is also available international. It is available on order from www.amazon.com; www.kalahari.com and www.mybooks.co.za.
