Destiny Academy celebrates achievements

On Wednesday 27 November 2013 Mokopane Destiny Academy held a prize giving ceremony at the RET centre on the corner of Fourie and Geyser streets. The theme of the evening was the colour of joy and it truly was a colourful celebration. Each learner received a certificate and various groups of learners performed an item illustrating the theme.
The pre-school learners focused on the colour red and recited their safety rules. The grade ones recited Psalm 100 and acted out a dance about the colours of Africa. The grade two learners illustrated the unity of colours in the rainbow, while the grade three to seven group illustrated a poem about the miracle of colour. The senior learners performed an excellent colourful dance and the MDA staff ended the evening with the song “Everything in colour” by Ben Cantelon. The evening was rounded off with refreshments, including colourfully decorated cupcakes!
