Ellisras Hospital in partnership with the Lephalale Municipality recently initiated the Letsema clean-up campaign recently with the aim to create a clean and healthy environment for patients and visitors to the hospital.
“The campaign will attempt to reduce the amount of littering as well as educate staff and visitors to be environmental ambassadors,” says Emily Molokomme, chief community liaison officer at Ellisras Hospital.
“We have a serious challenge when it comes to littering and overgrown vegetation on the premises and we decided to partner with the municipality in ensuring a clean and healthy environment.”
The campaign includes a monthly clean-up by staff of the hospital and municipality and any company willing to participate in the venture. For information contact Emily on 014 763 2227.
