Lephalale's MM resigns

Lephalale municipal manager (MM), Bob Naidoo, has resigned. Naidoo who was placed on special leave following allegations of maladministration under his reign in April this year, handed his letter of resignation to the Lephalale municipal council on Tuesday.
The council accepted Naidoo's resignation and interestingly withdrew all charges against him.
Naidoo’s resignation comes into effect on 31 Augustus.
They also resolved to advertise and fill the MM post as soon as possible. Acting MM, Advocate MB Makgato was asked to remain as acting MM until 31 August by which date the council hopes to have appointed a new MM.
