Three suspects appeared in the Lephalale Magistrates’ court on Wednesday in connection with the murder of Koos Jonker (79) on the farm, Leah, near Lephalale.
Jonker was found on his bathroom floor by the owner of the farm, Ludwig Pauer, last Monday. His hands and feet were bound and he had severe wounds to his head.
Only a laptop and camera was stolen and the suspects fled in Jonker’s green Jeep before police tracked it down in Seleka.
The three suspects were arrested on Monday in Lephalale and Villa Nora. They will stand trial on charges of murder and housebreaking.
