Old bomb found at building site

Last Wednesday the Modimolle explosives unit and Lephalale dog (K9) unit was called out to a construction site at the Lephalale private hospital for a bomb scare.
The K9-unit was assigned to inspect an aged 60mm illuminator bomb (mortar). However, this bomb was not dangerous and the premises was searched again the following morning, but nothing else was found.
The bomb is with the Modimolle explosives unit for further investigation.
