Gold, an international non-profit organisation, boasts a new group of facilitators in training preparing themselves for the programme’s planned expansion into Mahwelereng and Mapuela. Gold operates from the RET Centre in Geyster street, Mokopane.
The Focus of Gold is to assist learners in schools from Grade 9-11 in understanding the importance of making accurate life choices. The three-year course is structured to develop and enhance positive life change in our future leaders.
“Effective change in the community can only start to take place when people’s hearts and minds are impacted by truth,” explains Imogen van Wyk.
A new group of facilitators in training, for the planned extension of the current programme into Mapela and Mahwalereng during 2015, took hands with Divnel from Hotel 224 to do repairs at one of the local churches within Mapela on August 29. This outreach is the first of many planned for the future, as young men and women are learning to take responsibility for own choices to shape a better future.
