Successful arrest for house breaking

An arrest was made last Friday morning when a burglar entered the home of an Onverwacht resident. The owner of the house was on his way to work when he noticed the suspect who was armed with a knife entering the garage.
The owner followed the suspect and managed to lock him into one of the rooms. The Police was notified and on arrival, they arrested the suspect on charges house robbery and theft.
The suspect was
taken to the Lephalale Police station and under questioning confessed that he was not alone and that the rest of his team escaped. Police are stil searching for the other two suspects. The man who was arrested appeared in Lephalale Magistrate’s Court. His case was postponed.
