Mutilated body found

The body of a woman, suspected to be in her early thirties, has been found with multiple stab wounds and her stomach cut open near Hospitaal View in Mahwelereng.
In what has been described as a horrific murder, paramedics found the woman lying next to the road in the early hours of Monday morning. The body was taken to Mokopane hospital where doctors confirmed her death.
The identity of the woman is not known and no witnesses have come forward to shed light on what might have occurred. The woman is black with a light complexion and was wearing black jeans, brown shoes and a striped t-shirt.
A murder case has been opened and a post-mortem will be done to check if she was raped and to find any evidence which could assist in the apprehension of her attacker/s.
