Forgotten friends

Mariaan Wentzel of the local SPCA says that they pick up many stray animals that are simply left behind after their owners move. “I would like to appeal to people in the community to contact us if they find that their neighbours have moved and left the animals behind.”
Mariaan says that they are in dire need of food for the animals at this stage.
“Any donations would be welcome. Even if somebody can only bring a small bag of food it would help to alleviate some of the strain,” She said. The new contact number for the SPCA is 079 398 6784.
