Minister hands over new homes

LEPHALALE – Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane handed over houses built for mineworkers on Thursday. The houses are part of Exxaro’s Grootegeluk coal mine’s Social and Labour Plan (SLP) commitment. At an event at the Mogol Club Zwane stated that he is humbled by the way in which the business leaders interact with the local community and society in general. Exxaro says 20% of the houses that were handed over will be available to local residents who are not employed by them.
