Young woman’s body found

MOKOPANE – A man has been taken into custody and the police is investigating a murder case after the body of a young woman was found next to the bushes opposite businesses in Simmentaler Street on Monday morning.
The body was identified as Puseletso Seopa, mother of a young toddler girl, who celebrated her 22nd birthday on Saturday. She was known by her friends as Makwena. According to sergeant Irene Masingi, spokesperson of the Mokopane police station, the victim had bruises on her face and a small cut on her forehead.
An acquaintance of Seopa was arrested for her murder. The suspects name is being withheld until he appears in court this week.
The family of the deceased is shocked as the mother of the victim discovered it is the body of her daughter while on her way to work on Monday, reported Masingi. An inquest will follow.
