MOKOPANE - “We are looking forward to resolving existing struggles and we commit to improve the quality of basic service delivery,” the new Mayor of Mogalakwena, Raisibe Andrina Matsemela, said in her inauguration speech at the Lleka Lekalakala Council Chamber last week.
“We apologise to the community of Mogalakwena for what has happened in the previous council term,” she added. “We are hopeful and confident that this newly-elected council, working together with the communities of Mogalakwena, administration, officials, civic organisations and government stakeholders, will not experience the [things of the] past.”
