LEPHALALE – The Lephalale police confiscated six firearms that were hidden in a storm water drain on the R510 about 40km outside Lephalale on the Stockpoort road.
According to warrant officer Frans Mokoena the Lephalale police received information that led to the discovery. “We found two shot guns, one revolver, two hunting rifles, a shot gun revolver and several rounds of live ammunition.”
The firearms were not reported as stolen and an investigation is still continuing.
