Robbers still active in town

MOKOPANE – Another business was robbed on Sunday morning following a spate of armed robberies in town in the past two weeks, leaving business owners very concerned.

A clothing store in Thabo Mbeki road was robbed of an undisclosed cash amount and some cellular phones belonging to employees of the shop. The two robbers who targeted the store were unknown men. They entered the store at about 10:20, locked up the employees and security guard in the storeroom and fled with the stolen goods.

No arrests have been made. Police investigations are continuing.
