LIMPOPO – Polokwane police spokesperson lt. Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe reports that Limpopo’s stock theft unit have arrested three suspects aged between the ages of 31 and 38 in Mokopane and Westernburg outside Polokwane who were found transporting stolen stock on Sunday afternoon.
Community members informed the police about six men travelling to Mokopane to sell stolen cattle at an auction. Police followed up on the information and arrested two of the suspects who were in possession of four stolen cattle and three calves. Four other suspects fled with a bakkie.
The two suspects will appear before the Mokopane magistrate court soon.
