Spare tyre missing?

BUSVELD - Several suspects were arrested for stealing tyres off vehicles after the Community Policing Forum (CPF) in Modimille and Lephalale worked with the Heritage Protection Group (a group of specialist reservists assisting the police in rural crime) and the Modimolle police to apprehend them.

The Lephalale CPF reports that the suspects have been stealing spare tyres off bakkies and other vehicles over the past few weeks. The group were operating in Lephalale, Modimolle, Mookgophong and Mokopane before they were arrested.

Any vehicle owner missing a spare tyre can approach the local police station of CPF with a case number to allow them to prosecute the suspects.
