IVANPLATS NOTICE: REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI):

SECURITY SERVICES AT MOKOPANE OPERATIONS

SCOPE OF WORK:

The detail of the security requirements of the company are flexible and may have to be changed from time to time. The scope includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Daily patrol of the entire security area
- Crime and incident investigation
- Alcohol testing
- Enrolment of employees/contractors
- Contraband and explosives searches
- Vehicles and personnel searches
- Control and recording of product
- Alarm and CCTV monitoring
- Armed response
- Liaison with SAPS
- Liaison with surrounding Security stakeholders
- Controlling company registers
- Ad hoc requests from Management (fire prevention, removal of unlawful occupants, crowd control etc.)
- Access control
- Customer services
- Enforcing of SHEQ

REQUIRMENTS:

PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) registration is compulsory in order to be eligible to submit an Expression of Interest for this service. If your company is not registered, please do not submit your interest in tendering for this service. Proof of PSIRA registration is to be attached to your submission.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

The application process consists of the following steps:
- Qualifying business owners can collect an expression of interest form from the security gate at Ivanplats offices situated at 7, Second Street, Old Industrial Area, Mokopane.
- A hard copy completed expression of interest form with all supporting documentation must be addressed to:
Ivanplats Procurement Department (Provision of Security Services Expression of Interest) and placed in the tender box box at Ivanplats offices at 7 Second Street Mokopane before 16:00 on 22 February 2017.
- Late submission will not be acceptable. Any application(s) received after the closing date and time or not delivered to the tender box will be considered as late and disqualified.

TAKE NOTE:

Please take note of the following:
- This Request for Expression of Interest is intended only for expressing interest in tendering for the service and is not intended to create any legal obligations between Ivanplats and any other party.
- Ivanplats is under no obligation to submit an Enquiry Document to all or any of the Contractors who submit an Expression of Interest for the above Services.
- No documentation, other than the completed Expression of Interest Form and proof of PSIRA registration, should accompany a reply.
