Two arrested for stealing from vehicles

Two suspects, aged 29 and 37, were arrested on Friday, 10 March, for theft from a motor vehicle. This follows various complaints from motorists that two men were targeting vehicles in Mokopane and in some cases even intimidating motorists.

​The police reacted swiftly after a man stopped them in Mokopane and claimed that two suspects had broken into his vehicle, which he stopped in front of a bank, and that they had fled with cash.

The police managed to arrest two men and recovered R17 500 cash stolen as well as two suspected stolen cars.

The men will appear in court this week.
