Ivanplats notice: Expression of Interest - Plumbers and Electricians

Are you a qualified, certified Plumber or Electrician running your own business? Please join Ivanplats structured supplier development program for 2018.

Ivanplats recognises the need for qualified, certified plumbers and electricians in the local economy in Mokopane. Through this Structured Development Program for Plumbers and Electricians, Ivanplats supports local economic development.

All local, qualified, certified plumbers or electricians are invited to apply for a part time programme that offers a package of business skills training, health and safety training, some technical training, compilation of a contractors pack and introduction to the procurement team.

The programme does not offer business funding or guaranteed procurement opportunities, but provides skil­­ls development opportunities. HDSA Residents of Mogalakwena Municipality who owns an active business can apply for this programme.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

To apply for this programme, you need to submit the following documentation:

  • A certified copy of your South African ID
  • A certified copy of your statement of results (minimum requirement Grade 10/NQF2)
  • Proof of residence
  • Confirmation of business physical address
  • Proof of ownership i.e. CC or company documents if applicable
  • Your cell phone number
  • CV detailing experience in appropriate field.

You can submit your application by dropping it in a sealed envelope in the tender box at Ivanplats’ offices, 7, Second Street, Old Industrial Area, Mokopane.

After the initial selection process, an Ivanplats representative will visit selected businesses to verify the information provided in the application. Verification of qualifications and trade certification will be required.
