They are Waterberg High School’s best

MOKOPANE – Waterberg High School held their annual prize giving function last week where they awarded their top academic achievers in each grade. They also announced 2016’s prefects.
The Grade 8-11’s top academic achievers are Anthony Mashaba (Grade 8), Tshepo Molefe (Grade 9), Khomotjo Radebe (Grade 10) and Thabang Rameetse (Grade 11). Radebe is the highest average performer in Grade 10-12. Thapelo Mamashela is Grade 12’s top Physical Science student and Dimpho Sekhaolelo is the top mathematics student. Dimpho Sekhaolelo in Grade 12 is the school’s Dux learner with an average of 81% in academics.
Edward Khuaho was awarded as Waterberg’s junior rugby player of the year. He was awarded with a Blue Bulls Rugby Union Trophy. Elias Ramashabane received a Spar Trophy for being the senior rugby player of the year. The junior athletics victor ludorum was awarded to Mahlatse Mokonyane. The senior athletics victor ludorum belongs to Tshepo Mokoena and the junior athletics victrix ludorum was awarded to Prudence Masakoa.
