Ready for the Provincials
James Nkuna, the athletics coach at Waterberg High School boasts with the school’s four athletes for qualifying for the upcoming provincial athletics. They are at the front from the left, Paledi Magwete, Tshepo Mokoena, Mahlatse Mokonyane and Katlego Motlana.
MOKOPANE – Four athletes from Waterberg High School are preparing for the upcoming provincial athletics that will be held at the Peter Mokaba Sport Stadium in Polokwane soon. Paledi Magwete, Tshepo Mokoena, Mahlatse Mokonyane and Katlego Motlana qualified for provincial level after excelling in the recent district athletics at Hoërskool Piet Potgieter. Magwete won the 200m for boys u/19 and Mokoena mastered the trippel jump for boys u/19 and the long jump for boys u/19. Mokonyane won the 100m and 200m for boys u/17 whilst Motlana won the trippel jump for boys u/17.
