Eskom demostrates the spirit of Ubuntu by donating new shoes and making a difference to school children at Mapela village

MOKOPANE - Eskom donated school shoes to underprivileged learners of Johannes Masibe Primary School in Mokopane on 2 June. This donation forms part of Eskom’s CSI initiatives in Limpopo.​
Eskom employees selflessly contributed towards the purchase of the school shoes with the aim restoring dignity of the learners and wanting to make difference in their lives.
Mogalakwena Mayor Cllr Andrina Matsemela attended and said that she appreciated Eskom’s efforts of contributing towards the upliftment of the learners and community.
Said Eskom Customer Relations manager Hilton Rampedi: “I would like to give thanks to the efforts made by Eskom employees by contributing toward the school shoes campaign."

He added that it was a special moment for Eskom to put smiles on the faces of learners by providing them with new pairs of shoes bought by Eskom employees.
