Farming for Madiba’s day

The Limpopo Department of Agriculture celebrated Mandela Day by visiting the
Nailane Vegetable Project at the Kauletsi village, 85 km from Lephalale. The six hectare project produces tomatoes, spinach, beetroot, cabbage, onion and butternut for the local market and individuals in need. The project has created two permanent and six temporary jobs for members of the local community. Members of the department and officials of the Lephalale municipality spent their 67 minutes for Mandela day by working at the project.
