Ellisras was tot onlangs toe net ‘n klein dorpie in die Bosveld waar almal mekaar geken het. Daar was slegs beperkte winkels, maar deesdae is dit ‘n reuse dorp, herdoop as Lephalale met ‘n Ellisras-uitbreiding, wat net aanhou uitbrei.
