News: 16 April 2014 By Valerie Cilliers
The Lephalale Tourism Association hosted a business breakfast and workshop at the Mogol function hall last Wednesday with customer care guru and sales training specialist, Vinesh Maharaj. Several local businesses attended the workshop which focussed mainly on improving customer services, sales skills, staff motivation and morale. Maharaj encouraged local business to always offer more value than the market does.   “Not just in products and services but in customer care. It’s when times are tough that you will miss your clients, lost through the customer services bleed.  Rather stem the loss with a high dose of sincerity, relationship and brand building by becoming a champion for your customer,” he told business owners and their employees at the workshop. “Don’t follow the herd, set your customer care standard so high, your competitors will be speechless,” he added.
