Face of Lephalale Mall crowned

The Face of Lephalale Mall crowning took place on Saturday at the Wimpy court at the Mall. Contestants modeled clothes from JET, Identity and Truworths to compete for the honor of being crowned the Face of Lephalale Mall. In the category 6-10 years, Charlize du Plessis walked away with the crown as tiny face of Lephalale Mall; Chloe Rudolph was crowned first princess and Marli van Schalkwyk second princess. Teen Face of Lephalale Mall (11-15 years) went to Nicole Hamman, First princes is Ivette Ngoepe and second Carre-Lee Armstrong. The Face of Lephalale Mall 2013 is Alicia Schlemmer, first princess is Boitumelo Makhubela and second princes is Vaughnique van Schalkwyk. Jessica van der Merwe was crowned Miss Cutie Pie.

Limpopo business gets a collective voice

At a recent Limpopo United Business Forum (LUBF) meeting in Polokwane, a decision was taken to move forward to the adoption of a constitution for the organisation on 12 December 2013. Present at the meeting were the business organisations AHi, BLA, BMF, FABCOS and NAFCOC, who all expressed their wholehearted support for an organisation that can speak on behalf of business in Limpopo as a whole. Various other organisations have also previously expressed their support for- and participation in the LUBF, but could not attend the meeting.

Life sentence for rapist
