Gymnasts ready for competition-season

Thirty seven gymnasts from Mokopane Gymnastics Club qualified for the club’s competition team during the annual club competition last week. The team comprises 13 women’s artistic gymnasts, 23 young men and one rhythmic gymnast. These gymnasts will stand a chance to represent their club at the Limpopo championships later this year.
“Gold medals are not made of metal, they are made of an alloy formed by sweat, blood and a hard-to-come-by ingredient called determination,” coach Richard Marshall commented on the performance of the gymnasts last week. He is confident of a good competition-season for the club. “2014 here we come!”
