Local gymnasts perform well

Level 1-3 girls and boys gymnasts from the Mokopane Gymnastics Club took part in a competition against the Zani Gymnastics group in Polokwane on Friday and Saturday.
The competition saw teams from as far as Tzaneen, Marble Hall and Hoedspruit compete.
MGC coach, Marinda Marshall, thanked Zani's for being gracious hosts and warned MGC gymnasts that competition season has
officially started. "Now it is time to put in everything during training - we’ve got to be even better at the next meeting at the end of July!"
Overall results:
Level 1 boys: Hannes Raats 8th, Waldo Bester 11th, Ruan Goosen 12th, Tyron Jordaan 14th. Level 2 boys: Amicus de Beer 13th, Hanru Bester 8th, Danyell Swanepoel 9th, Luke Knight 10th, WJ Swanepoel 2nd. Level 3 boys: Luan du Plessis 4th, Albert Brits 5th, Marnus Ruytenberg 1st,, Jan van der Baan 6th, Abukwe Midingi 9th. Level 1 girls: Miqayla Venter 3rd, Jennezee Vermeulen 4th, Angelique Nelson 8th. Level 2 girls: Jessica Essakow 1st, Chene Goosen 2nd, Lungile Mahalgu 3rd, Vine van der Heever 4th. Level 3 girls: Melody Raats 3rd, Lesedi Mashishi 4th and Jodi Knight 8th.
