Scouted by Sundowns!

MOKOPANE – Mokopane Primary’s soccer boys played very well and walked away as the champions while competing in the Vuki Chuene soccer tournament against other primary schools at the Mahwelereng stadium on 18 June.

Mokopane Primary won 4-0 against Hans Masebe Primary during the semi finals and an astonishing 7-1 against the same school in the final game.  Mokopane Primary’s soccer team was crowned as the champions in a recent soccer tournament that was held at the Mahwelereng stadium. During the tournament, soccer players Shaun Maleka, Lesiba Khotsa and Thabang Thusi (pictured right) from Mokopane Primary were scouted by the Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club who will soon be visiting the area. Their coach Abner Maubane joins them proudly.
