Little MGA gymnasts in Limpopo team

Five junior gymnasts from Marshall Gymnastics Academy (MGA) have been taken up in the Limpopo team and will compete against other provinces at the North Zone Competition in Gauteng later this year.

MGA competed at the Limpopo Artistic Competition for level 1-3 gymnasts on 2-3 June along with 13 other clubs from Limpopo to test their skills. The competition was hosted by Ecarté Gymnastics Club at the beautiful Castle de Wildt outside Modimolle. 

This competition served as a qualifier for Limpopo Colours and to compete at the North Zone Competition later this year.

The results were as follows:

Keanu Potgieter (level 3): 2^nd place on vault, and a 1^st place on Parallel Bars, gold average.  Darren Foss (Level 1): 3^rd overall, silver average.
Jayden Enslin (Level 1): bronze average. 
Dané Schamrel (Level 1): 1^st on Vault, 1^st on U-Bar, 2^nd on Floor, and 1^st overall, gold average.
Natanja Koch (Level 1):  1^ston vault, 1^ston U-Bar, 1^ston Beam, and 1^st overall, gold average.  Natanja was also appointed as the best Level 1 gymnast at this competition!
