From: 07 September 2024
Until: 08 September 2024
Location: Spca Louis Trichardt
The SPCA Louis Trichardt is joining hands once again with the Paws Care Network, with the aim of sterilising as many dogs and cats as possible that would otherwise not have the opportunity to visit a vet. This will take place on the weekend of 7 and 8 September at the local kennels along Vondeling Road.
During their last spay campaign in Tshakhuma, the team sterilised over 100 animals, but they still need spay sponsors to make this day a success. “Please get in touch with us if you would like to get involved and sponsor a spay,” said the local SPCA’s Alicia Thomas.
If enough sponsors are secured, the sterilisations will be free of charge. If not, costs will range between R300 and R350 to help cover the SPCA’s expenses.
Please note that the team of professional volunteers will conduct the castrations and spays on a first-come, first-served basis. Owners will also need to spend the day with their pet until they recover from surgery.
